Portfolio Task 3:

          The graph and table illustrate the number of fishermen in millions for five continents between 1970, 1980 and 2000, and the world’s top ten exporters of fish in 2000.

          The graph shows that the number of fishermen in Asia increased dramatically from 13m to 26m. In Africa the number of fishermen started to decrease. It shows that in 1970 the number of fishermen was 12 million then it decreased sharply to reach 3 million in 2000. In North America, the number of fishermen increased by 10 million until it leveled out at 15 million in 2000. The table shows that Thailand and Norway are at the top of the world’s top ten exporters of fish. On the other hand, Indonesia and South Korea come in the 9^th and 10^th place.

In conclusion, as a result of the sharp increase in the number of fishermen in Asia, half of the world’s top ten exporters of fish are Asian countries.

Tow figures are represented. The first is a bar chart which describes the percentages of films shown in the UK and Australia in 2000.

            The bar chart shows that 75% of films shown in Britain were made in the USA while only 20% of films shown were British. On the other hand, 68% of films that were shown in Australia were US films and only 10% of films were Australian. Regarding to the line graph, it is obvious that there was an increase in cinema attendance in both countries British and Australia. The cinema attendance in Britain decreased dramatically from 100 million to 50 million between 1980 and 1982. However the number increased rapidly in 1986 to reach 110 million in the UK. On the other hand, the cinema attendance in Australia remained quite stable between 1980 and 1990 at 40 million audiences. In the period 1988-2000 it can be seen that the cinema attendance started to increase slightly till it reached 150 million in Britain and 90 million in Australia.

            In conclusion, it can be seen that the cinema attendance increased in both countries and the most common films are US films.

My name is Adulla Rashed. I am 23 years old. I am a person who likes to enjoy his time a lot and there is no place of deprission in my life. I like to play football, swim and in general I love to do sports. I also like to try new things and to have lots of intresting experience. The picture that I had uploded has a lot of good memories last year. It is me and my brother Jasem and the proffesional player team of Al Jazira club Recardo Oliviera. We won the pro league last year and the  cup as well.
